ARTIST'S GARDEN by Robert M Worth Jr, photographer & publicist
Professional photographer with two (2) images that are included in the New York Times Best Seller- May 2003 and published in 2004 titled "America 24/7 Michigan Edition" ISBN # 0-7566-0062-6. Page 171 and Page 179. I submitted three (3) photos and two (2) of them were selected out of 1 million photos submitted from nearly 25,000 photographers nationwide [Note: Only 6,000 photos of the 1-million photos submitted were used in the 'America 24/7 Series']. It's not about one in a million. More like two in a million. I think, believe, the photos which were selected do represent Michigan and all other states in either a classical way or ironically depending on the perspective of the viewer. The book both in hardcover as well as softcover can be purchased from any bookstore as well as the on-line stores. My tool box includes ACDSee Pro 7, ACDSee Ultimate 9 and Ultimate 10. I also have licenses for Corel Paint Shop Pro X7 and X10, Thumbs Plus 10, jAlbum and jAlbum Skins produced by an array of graphic and 'skin' artists world wide including the latest updates, Other software includes Photo Frame Show. My hardware includes a custom made computer with 12 gigabyte of RAM, nearly 16 terabyte of storage, and a 2.3 gHz CPU. 75% of the storage is used for backup purposes since I don't actually trust hard drives as permanent storage devices. Seven (7) external drives and four (4) internal drives. My business interests include being a Publicist for musicians, photographers, and other artists who love their work and don't want to do the marketing and promotion of it. While I do have high end printers and scanners, I leverage the use of professional labs which also do fulfillment processes. If at all possible, I prefer not to handle cash nor the pressures to meet deadlines and unhappy buyers. The labs take all that pressure off my back allowing me to concentrate on the marketing aspects. Just about each one of these Albums has a "Buy Now" gallery which allows viewers to purchase from the labs the photos of their choice.
